Born and raised in China, I followed the "successful path" expected of an only child: straight-A student, business major, U.S. master's degree, and a white-collar career in corporate America.

Yet, a longing for a creative outlet persisted. Encouraged by family and friends, I began dedicating time to cultivate my hobbies.

Since 2020, I've explored acrylic painting across various genres, from animals and movie posters to abstracts. It's rewarding to see my home decorated with my own work. I also dove into interior design by crafting a Harry Potter themed guest room!

In 2026, I discovered a new combination of creativity and utility by painting and selling customized tote bags. It began as gifts for family and friends. Recently, I've partnered with the local Wimberley Candle Company to start selling in store as well as on my own website.
